Students who wish to pursue a graduate degree at Lamar University can choose from 36 master’s and five doctoral degree programs. To be eligible for graduate admission, a student must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Prospective graduate students should submit all admissions materials at least 30 days prior to the start of the semester in which they wish to begin studies. To apply for graduate admission, applicants must:

  1. Complete and submit an online application at Apply Texas.
  2. Submit official transcripts from each college or university attended, including the accredited institution from which the applicant earned a bachelor’s degree.
  3. Submit scores from the GRE or GMAT (for MBA applicants). Use code 6360 to send scores to LU. Both tests are administered by the LU Career & Testing Center. Scores may not be more than five years old.
