I hope all is well with finals literally right around the corner! I know besides the stress of preparing for finals, most of my teachers have thrown in that one last test these past few weeks. My schedule for the last few weeks has honestly been class, work, books, gym, and sleep. With all that said, I am that much closer to the end! Orientation is also that much closer as we have our first one this Saturday! Today we had a handful of the Peer Advisors come into the office to help us get some last minute things ready for the big day. People have no idea how much goes into the orientation program. Heck, I work in the office, and I feel like I don’t even know the half of it!

Well it’s just about that time to wrap up the 2012-2013 school year! And just like that, I am a junior!! Crazy right? So many things have happened since I first started here at Lamar in the Fall of 2011. I’ve made so many wonderful friends, I’ve taken some pretty awesome classes (some not so awesome but sadly required), and become one of the founders of a new sorority on campus that just became official this semester!

    Latest Blog: A Day

Some days are riddled with meetings and other events (dinners, lectures, etc.). The point is, life here is good. At least for me it is. I like getting up every day and going to class and eating or talking with friends, and going to events. Lamar really has become a home away from home.

We are in the final countdown here at Lamar. We have approximately two weeks left of classes until we begin taking final exams. This has definitely been a very interesting semester. I will hit my halfway mark at the end of this semester, and I can honestly say I felt like it flew by.
