  • We will visit a Residence Hall and see a model resident room! Need more information about your room deposit and finding a roommate?  This session is for you!

  • Time to Shift Gears - Transitioning to College (Shelia Umphrey Recreational Sports Center-Multi Purpose Gym)
    We will discuss what happens after a new Cardinal is admitted to LU including topics like Meningitis Vaccination, TSI testing, Academic Advising, Orientation, Financial Aid, Scholarships, Send-Off Party, Important Dates, and more.
    • Recommended Audience: Admitted seniors, transfer students
  • So you want to be a Cardinal...(Shelia Umphrey Recreational Sports Center-Main Gym)
    When do I apply? How do I send my SAT/ACT scores? Is there an essay? Be a part of our discussion around the application process for admission to Lamar University so you’ll know what to do, and when!
    • Recommended Audience: 9th-11th grade, future transfer students
  • Show me the money! (University Theatre)
    We know paying for college is a concern for many families. Join our Financial Aid and Scholarship Boot-camp for future LU students to help you get started on the right foot.
    • Recommended Audience: 9th-11th grade, future transfer students

**Sessions will last 30 minutes and will have 15 minutes of travel time before the next begins. These session will be offered three times.
